A little bit about Walker
What do you love most about working at Greene IS?
Lots of things, first off there is the great office culture. We all get along pretty well and I have a lot of support from all levels. The office is in a good location and Greene gave me a great set-up to work from at home. There is also a lot of really good perks and benefits, the free lunch at the office is probably my favorite.
Favorite thing to do outside the office:
When I can, I like going outside and getting into nature. In my opinion Washington is probably the best place to do that. I also like working out, reading and writing as well. They are all productive ways to spend my time and focus myself.
Three bucketlist items:
Finish and Publish my book(s)
See Rome in person
Go Skydiving
Favorite Quote:
“EX FAVILLĪS · PER CAELÅŒS · AD ASTRA”. It’s my take on Seneca the Younger’s “PER ASPERA AD ASTRA”. It translates to “From the ashes, through the heavens, to the stars.”
Any special skills or talents?
I was a college Long Snapper at UNLV for about 6 years (played football for 17 years in total), I played viola for about 6 years as well in my early teens, I was a competitive gymnast, a state-level wrestler in high school, played baseball for a decade and I still have a killer handstand.
Who is someone you admire and why?
My dad. He’s funny, honest, and down-to-Earth, as well as a mile-long list of other good things. He’s a great role-model and it’s hard to imagine that I could be where I am today without him.
Tell me more about you:
There is a lot of things that I want to do in my life and I think Greene IS is really the perfect place for me to be on the journey that I want to go. I want to make a positive impact on the world and I really believe that this is a great place to get started, I like helping, teaching, and inspiring people to strive for more; and for better or for worse, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store.
