Discovery

Each data migration project begins with a deep dive into the Source data and environment. We leave no stone unturned to ensure there are no surprises during the migration.  At the end of project Discovery, Clients are provided with a comprehensive Source inventory report and a detailed migration blueprint.

Migration Strategy

We work with Clients to develop a migration strategy that is designed around Client specifications, data quality standards, data governance, change management, and all of the finer details. Once our Client has approved the full migration scope and strategy, we schedule the official cutover date and start building out your customized migration solution. 

Build & Validate

Greene IS engineers prepare the Source environment and perform rigorous pre-migration testing to ensure that all possible migration scenarios have been addressed and validated.  Each data migration project is unique - this is why Greene IS will build a custom solution based on the individual project requirements.  

Migration & Cutover

Most types of migrations allow for a background sync to be initiated leading up to cutover. During this phase, older sets of data are copied over to the Destination without causing any end user disruption. Greene IS engineers will then perform a final delta sync during cutover. 

Data security is of utmost importance at Greene IS. We require MFA on all Client environments and operate on a limited-access basis to perform the data migration. 

Clean-Up & End User Support 

Immediately following cutover, Greene IS will focus on end user and IT support to ensure that everything is working properly on the Destination. The Source environment will then be retired according to the Client's retention plan and once all post-cutover dust has settled.
